The Role:
We are looking for an Investor Relations Associate to join our Real Estate business.


The Real Estate Investor Relations team is a dynamic and energetic team that focuses on the development and maintenance of relationships with new and existing institutional investors for the M&G Real Estate Business, total AUM £35.9bn.

This includes supporting products invested in UK, European and Asia commercial and residential real estate.

The team works closely with the fund management, investment and asset management, finance, legal, compliance, areas to not only service our existing investors but also to support the growth and development of the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation of material across the M&G real estate product range, for existing investors and new prospects and to be involved in aspects of client takeon, due diligence and client retention.
  • Attend and record client/prospect meeting notes and input all necessary information into Salesforce.
  • Produce presentations and pitchbooks for products across the M&G real estate product range for prospects, existing investors and consultants.
  • Coordinate responses and contribute to RFP, DDQ and RFI materials across the real estate products.
  • Assist with updating and maintenance of consultant databases.
  • Assist with responses to investor and consultant queries, and requests from internal stakeholders.
  • Assist the investor relations team with the compilation of reporting materials.
  • Assist with the compilation of sales flyers and fund profiles and other promotional material.
  • Providing adhoc admin support to the team when required.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • Organised and systematic approach to work
  • Ability to work in a diverse team
  • Ability to build and develop relationships with internal and external customers and
  • Ability to work with complex numerical and written data
  • Problemsolving skills abilities coupled with intelligence, passion and a drive to learn
  • Selfmotivated and ability to work on own initiative to strict deadlines
  • Business related degree or Real Estate qualification would be an advantage, as would CFA Level 1 or similar investment qualification but not essential.
  • Minimum of at least two years' experience in an institutional client service or business development team required
  • Experience of institutional RFPs and new business pitches would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Experience in the real estate industry would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously and working with senior fund management teams.
  • Strong written, computer, research and analytical skills, with knowledge of MS Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
