Description
Our client are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our team on the late shift.

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) lathes to produce precision metal components to the highest quality standards.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce highquality components
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate machine settings and tooling requirements
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments to the machine settings to maintain consistent output
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC lathes to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong problemsolving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality work
  • Flexibility to work on the late shift
The role is based in Whiteley, commutable from Fareham, Gosport, Southampton and Portsmouth.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
