Pricing Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Manager to join a fast-paced team with a retail business who have hundreds of stores across the UK.

You will be responsible for the implementation and execution of the pricing strategy and pricing decisions thatwill impact commercial and budgetary targets.

There will be a mix of remote and office working, with the job holder likely to be spending 2 days per week in their West Midlands based offices and rest working from home.

About the job

As an integral part of the Promotions team within the broader commercial function, you will lead the direction of the Pricing Strategy via the management and maintenance of all product price files.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and analysingcompetitor pricing to develop market and consumer intelligence in relation to pricing, making recommendations to ensure the business remains competitive and hits sales targets.

About the person

To be considered for this position, you will have experience in a Pricing Management role where you will have managed a pricing team and pricing strategy, preferably in retail or FMCG, but any business to consumer environment will be considered.

You willhave strong communication skills and able to influence at all levels, making recommendations and challenging commercial decisions at all levels.

You will also have sound project management skills, with the ability to deliver process enhancements and improvementsalongside the day-to-day role.

Excellent IT skills are a must, especially Excel and Power BI
