Description
Taylor Hawkes are working with a leading management and professional services company based out of the
UK and US. Our client provides a portfolio of services to a wide range of clients consisting of leaders in
entertainment, film, music, radio, television and sport, including athletes, authors, digital influencers, media
rights holders, musicians, producers, TV personalities and voiceover artists.

You will be working as part of the Business Management team, who provide accountancy services covering tax,
accounts and royalty payment examinations for a wide variety of clients in the music, sport and entertainment
industries. Based in London and reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of
accountants, ensuring delivery of quality work.


Responsibilities:


  • Management of a client group including; advising clients on their accounting needs, resolving issues with clients and conducting client meetings
  • Team Management including; planning work, delegating and reviewing work, mentoring and training team members including appraisals
  • Preparing and finalising accounts for sole traders, LLP, limited companies
  • Good understanding of tax issues and liaison with tax department
  • Management of tour budgets and reporting for touring musicians, and liaising with record labels, booking agents and promoters regarding the same
  • Examination of royalty statements along with the calculation and distribution of royalty payments to rights holders
  • Liaising with record labels and legal representatives to ensure accounting obligations are being fulfilled correctly
  • Managing deadlines to ensure work is completed to the required quality standards
