Description

Within the scientific industry Field Service Engineers are responsible for the maintenance, installation and repair of a range of scientific equipment.

They provide excellent customer care in a challenging hands-on position, servicing instruments used ina range of industries.

Our client is a leading Mass Spectrometry and Scientific Instrument manufacturer, providing high-value analytical and diagnostic solutions to a variety of industries.

Due to an increase in demand for their service, we are seeking an experienced Mass Spectrometry Service Engineer to join their growing team.

As a field based engineer you be required to travel to customer sites across Cambridge, Oxford and London for theservice and repair of their high end Mass Spectrometry products.

To be suitable for this position, you will have/be:

A relevant science or engineering qualification (HND, BSc, MSc, etc)
Previous experience using or servicing Mass Spectrometry instruments (e.g. LC-MS, GC-MS, MALDI
TOF)
Comfortable with extensive travel (~75% of your time will be on the road)
Excellent communication skills and able to provide a high level of customer service
