One Step are working with an exceptional school, based in Chard who are looking for new Teaching Assistants to join their growing team

This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career and really make a difference to young people's lives.

Your day to day duties will vary and no day will be the same You will be asked to sit in on lessons, including English and Maths.

You will be providing support for the pupils, teacher and the school wherever needed.

You will also be asked to help in lesson planning whilst participating in all stages of the work plans.

You will also provide feedback on each individual student you work with and help with their progression through the school year.

Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for someone with good resilience and understanding of SEN.

You do not need to come from an educational background, but must be able to show compassion, resilience and a caring nature.

All successful applicants must hold a DBS and be happy to carry this out. You must also be happy to carry out basic training courses if needed.

The hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
