An opportunity has arisen for some additional HR Support within the Carlisle Diocesan Board of Finance Ltd (CDBF) and at Rydal Hall Ltd.

This is a jointly funded post, and HR Support will be provided across both organisations.

Responsibilities include;

  • Providing support to the HR Adviser and employees within CDBF & Rydal Hall and ensure that HR processes and procedures are up to date.
  • Assisting with the endtoend recruitment and induction process for lay posts within the CDBF and Rydal Hall including the leavers' process
  • Assisting with general HR queries and acting as the HR administrator and first point of contact for HR queries at Rydal Hall
  • To assist in ensuring GDPR compliance within the CDBF & Rydal Hall to include policy review and audit and specifically, responsibility for GDPR in respect of HR records
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining the HR systems including ensuring HR records are up to date
  • Updating areas of the website and ensuring information is up to date
21 hours per week, (0.6 FTE) to be worked over three or more days to suit, hybrid working.


Ability to drive and access to a car is required as visits to Rydal will be required on a regular basis.

FTE £25, pro rata) + 15% non-contributory pension

  • Human resources: 2 years (required)
