Commercial Property - Administrator/Assistant

Location - Office based - Hertford.


Working hours
  • Monday to Friday
9.00am-5.30pm


Interview Process - Zoom followed by a face to face meeting in Hertford - references will be followed up, before the role is appointed.

We are looking for an organised, motivated administrator/assistant to join our team. This is an exciting role has been created to assist with managing an interesting portfolio of properties.

Our company is growing, we would therefore consider applicants with excellent admin skills who is looking to learn about property management, alternatively somebody with excellent admin skills who is looking for a local administrative role.

The assistant will perform administrative duties to include liaising with clients, tenants, suppliers, instructing property maintenance, recording progress whilst following company procedures.

The role is primarily to assist the Property Managers and will include (not limited to) the following:

  • Answer and direct mainline phone calls
  • Maintain a positive, productive relationship with property managers, external clients, and suppliers.
  • Report problems or issues to the property manager
  • Distribute daily post
  • Maintain and log updates on Tracker (our online MIS) and instruct repairs/maintenance.
  • Maintain Health and Safety records to include instruction of repairs/maintenance.
  • Assist Property Managers with the preparation of client reports and to correspond with clients and/or tenants as required.
  • Ensure all correspondence is electronically filed on a regular basis.
  • Take on small projects delegated by Property Managers and Senior Management

Requirements and Skills

  • 5 GCSEs Grade C or above to include English and Maths
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail oriented and highly organised
  • Strong client service skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Experience in property management would be advantageous.
  • Use of QUBE would be advantageous.
Expected start date: 01/04/2024


Salary:
£24,500.00-£25,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
