Kelburn Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to work for a long-standing Tier 1 automotive client based in the Sunderland area.

The Quality Inspector role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis with an attractive salary on offer.


As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our Client's commitment to delivering quality products to customers.

You will be responsible for checking goods in and ensuring that they meet quality standards.

Your attention to detail and expertise in quality control procedures will be instrumental in upholding their reputation for excellence and reliability.


Role and Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector Role:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming pipes, parts and components to verify their compliance with established quality standards, industry specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests on products to assess their conformity to technical specifications and quality guidelines.
  • Identify and document any nonconformities, defects or discrepancies and report them to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to ensure efficient workflow and accurate documentation of inspection results.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections including test reports, inspection logs and related documentation.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to safety regulations and quality assurance protocols within the warehouse environment.
  • Communicate effectively with other relevant parties regarding qualityrelated issues or concerns.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience for the Quality Inspector Role

  • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role ideally within an automotive environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles methodologies inspection techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards specifications.
  • Excellent attentiontodetail systematic approach problemsolving.
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations best practices.

Salary:
£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
