Grade UE06:
£31,396 - £36,024 per annum
Student Recruitment and Admissions
Full time, 35 hours per week
**Fixed term contract: 24 months
We are looking to recruit a Student Recruitment Officer, within our Student Recruitment and Admissions team (SRA) at the University of Edinburgh.
The Opportunity:
This offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and creative individual wishing to further their career in student recruitment in a varied and stimulating role.
You will work as part of a team to design and deliver recruitment activity to meet the University's strategic recruitment objectives, focusing on the UK undergraduate market.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience presenting to a range of audiences
- in-person and online.
- A strong customerfocus and ability to be sensitive to the needs of potential students from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work on own initiative and to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changes to workload and commitments.
- An understanding of current UK undergraduate higher education issues, including widening participation.
