The Opportunity


I am working with a brilliant client of mine south of Birmingham who are looking for a qualified finance business partner to join the team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to work with the Head of Commercial Finance to maximise the functionswith sole responsibility for a business area.


Key Responsibilities

  • Dedicated Business Partner to auto centres sales/margin team
  • Work with none finance team members to explain the reports
  • Quarterly forecasting and budgeting, highlighting opportunities and risks to the Supply and Finance Directors to ensure strategy is in line with overall Business objectives
  • Reporting and understanding of spend and month end reviews
  • Understanding and review of stock levels and value, and how they can be optimised
  • Understanding and review of stock costs including freight, duty and product cost
  • Evaluate trials analysis
  • Commercial support on key strategic projects

Key Skills/Experience

  • Previous Business Partnering experience, preferably in Retail, FMCG
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA etc.)
