Frontline Consultants are a long established management consultancy, working with public, private and third sector clients across the UK and Ireland in economic development, organisation design and development, research and evaluation.

Frontline is looking for a Consultant to join their Evaluation Team working across a wide range of projects in economic impact, due diligence, evaluation, and sectoral research.


The Role


As a Consultant, your workload will vary in line with the needs of our individual clients from both the public and private sectors, but you will work on a wide range of economic issues including innovation, skills, business growth, culture, and leisure and tourism.

The role will focus on cross-sector quantitative and qualitative analytic work and will include contact with clients. You will support the consulting team, giving you an excellent opportunity to rapidly broaden your experience across several sectors.

As part of the team, you will have considerable exposure to senior staff with opportunities for personal and technical development.


Responsibilities
Conducting quantitative and qualitative data research and analysis, including but not limited to:

  • Survey development, set up and management
  • Survey analysis developing tables and charts, providing commentary and reporting
  • Interviewing aligned to evaluation and review
  • Thematic analysis of consultation and survey responses
  • Economic assessment to support evaluation and project appraisal
  • Deskbased research across market trends, demand and competitor/comparator assessment
  • Literature and project information and data review and analysis
  • Report writing and presentation of findings to clients

Essential Requirements

  • Honours degree (2:1 or higher) in a relevant field (economics, business or similar) with a strong research focus
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a research/consultancy environment
  • Strengths in statistical work, including analysing and presenting data
  • Excellent writing and IT skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Capable of organising and managing workload, and adapting to changing project priorities
  • Flexible team player
  • Selfmotivated, selfstarter
