  • Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch (flexible working arrangements available)
  • Equal share in the oncall rota (no less than 1 in 4) covering small animal and/or farm and equine emergencies
As Assistant Clinical Director, you will play a key role in providing veterinary care and supporting the clinical team. You'll work closely with the Clinical Directors and Practice Manager to ensure high clinical standards and a collaborative approach. While prior leadership experience is not essential, we offer training and support for this aspect of the role. Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional care are essential qualities we value.

Join a Well-Established Practice:

We are a first opinion, mixed practice, with a focus on small companion animals (50%), farm animals (40%), and equine (10%).

We are RCVS Practice Standards accredited, providing an inclusive and supportive working environment. We pride ourselves on excellent clinical standards and compassionate client and patient care.

Our well-equipped facilities include recently refurbished theatre, prep, and imaging rooms, as well as specialized equipment such as FecPak machine, digital microscope, small animal dental X-rays, SignalPet, and bull and ram breeding assessments.

Based in the heart of a rural town in West Wales, just 20 minutes from the coast and adjacent to the Cambrian Mountains.

Our Exceptional Team:

You'll be part of a talented and friendly team consisting of 9 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, and Support Staff.

We believe in nurturing our team members and enabling them to reach their full potential. Our practice includes experienced general practitioners, recent graduates, certificate and PhD holders, and those on their VetGDP pathway.

We are passionate about coaching, mentoring, and supporting our people, making us a Veterinary Nurse training practice, and following the IVC Graduate Academy pathway for our new graduate Vets.
