Description
Successful Norwich based business is seeking to hire a management accountant on a 3 month temporary basis. This is to help the company go through a busy period and assist the friendly finance team.

Your key duties will include the following:

  • Help prepare monthly management accounts
  • Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Assist with payroll and VAT returns
  • Assist with developing processes and ensuring adherence to good practice
  • Oversee and assist with purchase ledger processing, including supplier statement reconciliations
  • Oversee and assist with customer ledger processing, including producing sales invoices
  • Processing bank payments and receipts
  • Preparing reports and auditing data, paying close attention to detail
  • Working towards tight deadlines each month
  • Other business administration tasks as required

About the person:


  • Minimum AAT Level 4 Qualified
  • A high level of aptitude for working with figures
  • The ability to work with great accuracy
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, with motivation and drive to succeed
  • Experience in using accounting software preferred
  • Proficient in use of software such as Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
