Description
Successful Norwich based business is seeking to hire a management accountant on a 3 month temporary basis. This is to help the company go through a busy period and assist the friendly finance team.Your key duties will include the following:
- Help prepare monthly management accounts
- Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Assist with payroll and VAT returns
- Assist with developing processes and ensuring adherence to good practice
- Oversee and assist with purchase ledger processing, including supplier statement reconciliations
- Oversee and assist with customer ledger processing, including producing sales invoices
- Processing bank payments and receipts
- Preparing reports and auditing data, paying close attention to detail
- Working towards tight deadlines each month
- Other business administration tasks as required
About the person:
- Minimum AAT Level 4 Qualified
- A high level of aptitude for working with figures
- The ability to work with great accuracy
- The ability to work on your own initiative, with motivation and drive to succeed
- Experience in using accounting software preferred
- Proficient in use of software such as Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
