Job Title:
Hairdressing Teacher Assessor

Responsible to:
Managing Director

Purpose of the Job:

To provide high quality education and training for learners.

Main activities:

To delivery high quality teaching and assessment with successful outcomes for learners across provision including Functional Skills
To produce and maintain up to date learning resources and lesson plans
Maintain up to date trackers, reviews, information and records in line with contractual requirements
To promote Halls of Ivy's Policies and Procedures, safeguard learners and promote PREVENT
Take part in internal standardisation and assessment moderation processes
To attend meetings and events as and when required
To undertake training as necessary
To comply with the requirements of Data Protection
To comply with Halls of Ivy's Policies and Procedures

The above mentioned duties are neither exclusive nor exhaustive and the postholder may be required to carry out such other duties as may be required by the Manager within the grading of this post and competence of the postholder

Person Specification

Job Title:
Hairdressing Teacher Assessor

Responsible to:
Managing Director

Essential skills:

Minimum 3 years Teaching Experience
Teaching Qualification at Level 5 or above
Assessing Qualification at Level 3 or above
Hairdressing Qualifications at Level 3 or above
Maths and English Functional Skills Qualification to Level 2 or above (or equivalent)
Effective interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
Highly PC Literate in all Microsoft Applications
Excellent organisation and administration Skills
Ability to effectively work as a Team Member
Ability to Motivate Self and Others
Able to Work towards and achieve Targets

Salary:
£30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
