Salary:
Up to £48,000 depending on experience

What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring the plan structure (Work Breakdown, schedule, and activities) is appropriately maintained within the programme tools
- Analysing and reviewing earned value progress to identify diversion from the plan i.e. tracking of actual spend against budget and forecast
- Reviewing the monthly progress report, challenging, and supporting the contributors to ensure issues are identified and appropriately actioned
- Lead the regular reestimation of the work/costs to go
- Day to day project management responsibilities and tasks
- Maintain and update the Integrated Schedule held in Maritime Services Project, holding regular review with the Support teams and Naval Ships
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Good understanding/experience of Earned Value Management and the various PM&C tools and techniques, such as Excel and EVM systems
- Good knowledge/experience of planning, tracking, and reporting experience on a range of projects
- Good level of Project Management experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Project
Desirable:
- SAP knowledge/experience
- PM&C qualifications e.g. APM
- PMQ, EVM, PP&C

The Type 26 Support team:
With our international programmes and core support to the Ministry of Defence our highly skilled teams design, develop, support and maintain a wide range of complex equipment within Maritime Services.
The team sits within Type 26 Support Programme, and you will be responsible for the daily project control activities, reporting to the Type 26 Support Programme and Governance Manager.
You will be operating with a complex set of programme tools and techniques, providing the project management services across a team of 100 Engineers.
The current budget contract cover for support is £250mil.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a long-term project with numerous opportunities in the pipeline.
