Hybrid - Payroll & Benefits Administrator - London


Do you have strong experience in dealing with Payroll & Benefits, along with using internal HRIS systems such as Workday & CGI Epayfact.

Resource Solutions are looking for a Payroll and Benefit Administrator to join our clients HR Delivery Team Working as part of a small team within HR Delivery to provide a high quality, payroll & benefits service.

Ensuring that our clients employees are paid accurately and on time and receive their contractual and flexible benefits. This role can be based in our offices in London, Leeds or Edinburgh.


What does the role involve?

  • Endtoend processing of starters, leavers, maternity, sickness and variable payroll data.
  • Processing the monthly payroll interface reports and verifying that the output is correct prior to sending to the outsourced payroll provider. Provision of bimonthly datafiles to our benefit administrator and ensuring that core and flexible benefits are processed correctly.
  • Working in partnership with the HR Helpline, Business Partners and other stakeholders to ensure that deadlines are met and transactions processed correctly.
  • Resolving routine employee payroll & benefit queries
  • Documenting and maintaining new payroll procedures and guidance for the team
  • Liaising with the Finance team and monthly reconciliation of the payroll accounts

Skills/Experience Required
Significant relevant experience in a high volume commercial environment through which

you will have acquired an in-depth knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing (i.e.

manual calculations, PAYE, NI, SMP, SPP, Pensions, tax year end, RTI etc).

  • Attention to detail, good numerical skills, and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience of flexible benefits and salary sacrifice (childcare vouchers, cycle scheme, holiday purchase, Grp Income protection
  • Actively manages personal and professional development and displays initiative and confidence to proactively look for solutions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with beginner to intermediate level in Excel and Word.
  • Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

Desirable

  • CIPP qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience of using CGI Epayfact
  • Previous experience of using Workday HRIS
