Description
This role is to join a public sector client, they are looking for a communications officer to join the team on a 6 month contract.
You will be tasked to undertake a comprehensive and professional internal and public communications role with a specific focus on projects Including assistance to Project Managers and Leads in devising effective communications plans, ensuring continual improvement of these activities through ongoing evaluation.
Duties to include;- To plan and deliver targeted internal communications, making best use of a range of communication tools including the intranet and staff newsletters as set out below.
- To attend conferences, meetings and training exercises to represent the interests of the Service and develop networks inside and outside of the organisation.
- To ensure regular updates from key projects are given to staff via the most appropriate communication tool.
- To contribute to the continuing development and review of internal communication channels
