Description

This role is to join a public sector client, they are looking for a communications officer to join the team on a 6 month contract.

You will be tasked to undertake a comprehensive and professional internal and public communications role with a specific focus on projects Including assistance to Project Managers and Leads in devising effective communications plans, ensuring continual improvement of these activities through ongoing evaluation.

Duties to include;

To plan and deliver targeted internal communications, making best use of a range of communication tools including the intranet and staff newsletters as set out below.
To attend conferences, meetings and training exercises to represent the interests of the Service and develop networks inside and outside of the organisation.
To ensure regular updates from key projects are given to staff via the most appropriate communication tool.
To contribute to the continuing development and review of internal communication channels

You will be working on a variation of projects, previous project management is essential.
