Working with an established Textiles company based in HD8 AQUMEN Recruitment is looking to hire an Overlocker on a Temp to Perm basis.


As an Overlocker, you will be an experienced Textile Machinist to join their team where you will be checking for imperfections and operating sewing machinery to a high standard whilst working to tight deadlines.


Requirements of an Overlocker:


  • Ability to learn quickly and willingness to work efficiently and a drive to improve continuously
  • Good communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • An ability to work on your own initiative
  • The ability to adapt to changes and work under pressure
  • To work well as a part of a team and communicate with other workers
  • Positive, "can do" attitude is crucial
  • Whipping/ Overlocking experience is essential


With a good level of written and spoken English and a great eye for detail you will be working Monday to Thursday 07:4- 16:30 and 07:4- 15:15 on a Friday (overtime may be available).

As an Overlocker you will receive £9.50 per hour rising to £10.01 per hour after 12 successful weeks.
