Band 3 (part-time pro rata)
Hours: 19 per week Monday to Friday
The AAFT team at MKUH are looking for a conscientious, enthusiastic, versatile admin assistant.
The role reports in to the Lead Frailty Clinical Nurse Specialist.
AAFT is a proactive, patient focused team with the aim to develop quality services for those in MK with Frailty who attend MKUH.

The post holder will contribute to the delivery of high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare to patients by providing administrative support to the Acute Assessment and Frailty Team.
The post holder will provide effective and efficient administrative support to the team, liaising with a range of healthcare professionals and education teams.
Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with the University of Buckingham, is a University Teaching Hospital; we conduct research and teaching on site to improve the care of our patients.
Professional Duties
- To access and record patient admission data and place on spreadsheet.
- Analysing data and generating monthly reports on collected data regarding patient screening and staff care hours.
- To carry out daily updates to the Health Roster, recording sickness, annual leave and training.
- To manage all information from daily sign in sheets, diary and rota to ensure all information is recorded accurately on health roster.
- To arrange AAFT staff meetings and prepare the agenda (with liaison with team leads). To record and transcribe minutes from meeting and ensure these are circulated.
- To answer the telephone and deal with all enquiries efficiently. Communicating appropriately with health care professionals, patient's and relatives calling the office and using own judgement to deal with these calls appropriately.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times regarding all clinical information associated with the role.
