The post holder's will support The Coordinator of Anstee Bridge to; assist in the education & social/emotional development of students; assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of group and individualised programmes of learning experience for students.


The post holder will contribute to activities run by FAB (Friends of Anstee Bridge Charity); support with the day to day running of Anstee and support administrative duties to help with the running of Anstee Bridge and liaise with mainstream schools, parents/carers and other relevant bodies to gather student information.

About the role

We will expect the job holder to have:

  • The ability to contribute effectively to a range of sessions/ workshops targeted at young people aged 11-1
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a range of children, families and professionals
  • The ability to use a range of digital hardware or software to support your work effectively i.e. microsoft or Google software.
  • Strong organisational abilities including: time management, creativethinking, problemsolving and multitasking.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently with limited management oversight.
  • Personal determination, drive, energy and ambition to achieve challenging objectives, celebrate success and deliver excellent outcomes for children using a strength based approach.
About you


Qualifications

  • Educated to Level 2 (good pass or equivalent) in Maths and English (Essential)

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working effectively with young people aged 1116, with social, emotional, mental health needs, in an education or youth work setting
  • Experience of keeping, maintaining and filing records and keep confidentiality
  • A good knowledge of safeguarding legislation, SEND and Children's Act
