We are recruiting for Contact Centre Clerks based in our Health Records Department in Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli.


This position is advertised as Welsh Essential - Level 3 and the expectation of this for the successful applicant is to be able to converse with patients over the phone that have specifically requested the Welsh language.

For this role, previous experience is not required, as on the job training will be provided.

  • The post holder will handle a variety of calls from patients, relatives and other individuals, dealing with and resolving all queries in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Duties will include operation of a computerised patients administration system, including inputting, retrieval and updating of data.
  • Utilising the available systems to efficiently arrange and agree all outpatient appointments for all Hywel Dda residents across the Health Board.

Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
