Electronic Design Engineer


Location of Office:
Leatherhead


Location of Work:
Flexible Hybrid WFH


Salary:
Up to £60,000 + benefits


The Role:

Our client, an industry leading design consultancy for the aerospace, nuclear, space and renewable energy sectors are now looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team in their Leatherhead office.

They offer flexible hybrid working and the chance to work for new product focussed design team working on cutting edge products that are used around the globe.

The ideal Electronics Design Engineer will have solid industry experience and a degree within a relevant engineering field.

You will have a strong electronic design background and experience in a senior role looking at architecture level problems and creatingelectronics solutions for the engineering team to implement.

Our client work with a host of clients and no two projects are the same, you will be expected to work across a range of electronic design tools and techniques including:
PCB layout, schematic capture,analogue and digital circuits and FPGA design. Any experience with embedded firmware or safety critical standards would really make your CV standout.


Skills and Experience Required:


  • Design and development of electronic architecture
  • PCB layout and schematic capture
  • Full life cycle development concept through to realisation
  • Experience in a regulated environment aerospace, nuclear, automotive etc

Desirable Skills and Experience:


  • Electronic component and equipment obsolescence
  • Safety critical standards and design environments
  • Experience as a technical lead or team leader
