Twenty4Seven Education is delighted to be working alongside this incredible primary school located in Cardiff.

They are looking for a kind and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in their early years class supporting the classroom teacher and helping to create an enjoyable and enriching learning environment.

They are looking for a teaching assistant who will create a safe and comforting presence in the classroom.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Support the classroom teacher
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of learning activities
  • Take small groups of pupils and complete set learning activities
  • Supervise during individual learning
  • Supervise during lunch and outdoor play
  • Discuss with teachers and pupils how best to support their learning
  • Will be positive, supportive, and dedicated to learning
  • Will be able to assist in planning and preparation for the school day
  • Will be confident in helping and supporting the classroom teacher in all aspects of the role
  • Will have a good command of the English language
  • Will have a minimum of 3 months of experience working with children or in an educational setting
  • Teaching assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£75.00-£85.00 per day

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cardiff, Cardiff: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Early childhood education: 1 year (preferred)
