Description
Owing to a continued period of growth we are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller to join our Finance Team.
Fireplace Warehouse Ltd are a fast paced and rapidly growing online retailer specialising in woodburning stoves and fireplaces.We are looking for a talented individual who are looking to make or further a career in a dynamic environment.
- Full ownership of the sales ledger for 3 group companies, ensuring all sales are imported daily.
- Credits notes and refunds raised in a timely manner and communicated to customers.
- Customer receipts allocated from a variety of payment gateways.
- Request payments from 3rd party finance options.
- Overdue balances collected within terms.
- Processing purchase invoices, checking against purchase orders and customer orders before approving them for payment.
- Reconciling supplier accounts, resolving queries and settling disputes.
Attributes and Skills
- Previous experience with credit control
- Previous experience with Sage 200 is desirable
- Excel knowledge
- Knowledge of Microsoft products and OneDrive
- Excellent communicator
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Have an excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work accurately and calmly, and show resilience, when under pressure
Hours of work are based around 08:00 - 16:30 in Stockport.
Salary:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
