Description

A great opportunity is available in our Trust for a Trainee Advanced Critical Care Practitioner ( tACCP), in our Adult Critical Care Unit.

The post is at Band 6-7 depending on experience. You will be supported by an ACCP through the development and acquisition of advanced clinical skills. In addition you will attend university and study for the MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (Critical Care). You will work alongside medical staff and follow the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine programme of training for ACCPs.

This is a two year supernumerary programme leading to FICM affiliation with the third year for for the masters qualification.

AFC Band 8a will be awarded on completion of the MSc and affiliation of FICM.
