A bit about the role...


With an average annual budget of £6bn, there is a need to ensure that public monies allocated to Homes England are managed timely, accurately and in line with programme parameters.


This role sits within the Transaction Services Team within Finance and will support the Senior Transaction Services Manager in the delivery of all finance transactional processing activities, maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial ledgers.


Our activities play a key role in ensuring the delivery of Homes England's strategic objectives and keeps the frontline operations working effectively.

Key responsibilities will include;
- the management of all accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks and their allocation within in the team.
- assisting with digital business improvements, including a replacement finance and billing system.
- ensuring operation and delivery is compliant with internal controls and policies.
- management of the team including development, supervision, objective setting, appraisals and performance management.


A bit about you

We are looking for someone who has:

  • significant experience of managing and developing a team.
- a high level of relevant finance experience.
- extensive knowledge of finance systems.
- excellent excel skills and ability to extract data from multiple sources.
- confident in prioritising workloads to meet change in work demands.
