Position Overview:


The store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shop, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, managing staff and shift creation, maintaining high-quality product knowledge and training, meeting and exceeding sales targets.

The supervisor creates a welcoming environment, manages inventory, implements operational strategies, and upholds the shop's reputation as a place for quality food and drink, and customer satisfaction.

Twelve Triangles is a Leith based scratch sourdough bakery focusing on local, low impact and seasonal offerings. We seek an individual who's passionate about food and drink, as well as fostering a great team working environment.

Our Stockbridge store is a high pace environment so you must be experienced in managing busy working environments and teams.


Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop, including opening and closing procedures.

Ensure the shop is clean, organised, and adequately stocked with supplies.
Monitor and manage food and beverage preparation to ensure consistent quality.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation standards.

The store supervisor will manage and maintain the stores shield platform, to ensure the store is in compliance with current health and safety standards and legislation.

Customer Experience:Foster a customer-centric environment, greeting customers, and addressing their needs and concerns.

Train and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly.
Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Staff Management:Assist in the recruitment and training of staff with GM.

Manage the scheduling of the team through the deputy app. Create monthly rotas for your store.
Manage sickness, lateness and manage cover for shifts.
Provide coaching and feedback to enhance staff performance and growth.
Ensure adherence to company policies.

Product Quality:Ensure the consistent preparation of high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages.

Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain adequate stock of ingredients.
Collaborate with suppliers to source the best-quality products.

Financial Management:Monitor financial aspects, and provide feedback to management.

Analyse sales data and financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Marketing and Promotion:Collaborate with the management team to assist in marketing. This may be photos for social media, communication of local events to be part of, or anything ancillary that you have identified to be of benefit to the business.

Inventory Control:Monitor inventory levels, track product usage, and minimise waste.

Implement effective inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock counts.
Coordinate with management / suppliers to maintain consistent inventory flow.

Administrative Tasks:Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, waste management and other business-related data.

Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, ordering, and scheduling.

Leadership and Development:Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to the coffee shop's success.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Identify training and development opportunities for staff member


Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: Prior experience as a café manager is essential.
  • Knowledge of Coffee and Beverages: Familiarity with different coffee brewing methods, espressobased beverages, tea varieties, and specialty drinks is an asset.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
