Your Tasks:


  • Verify, update, and reconcile inventory information using a computerised records system.
  • Despatch of goods and engineering associated equipment.
  • Maintain inventory records of all goods issued and receipts by adding or deleting items as they are issued or received.
  • Advise the Assistant Stores Controller or Stores Controller of stock discrepancies and shortages, maintain stock at agreed levels.
  • Control and issue inventory and process and maintain inventory records.
  • Maintain a professional, polite and courteous manner whilst dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Promote a high level of quality and safety within the department.
  • Help maintain storage of goods in an efficient and safe manner.

Our Requirements:


  • Forklift truck counter balance and reach experience is preferred however training can be provided.
  • Hours to work between 6:00 18:00, Monday to Friday, and would require occasional shift cover.
  • Reasonable standard of secondary education.
  • Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of SAP MM modules preferred.
  • Experience in an engineering stores related role is preferred.
  • Working safely is a priority.
  • Well organised, efficient, personable and have a good, confident telephone manner.
  • Able to follow written procedures and processes.
