Blueprint Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for a passionate CAD Manager on a 6-month contract basis located in London but with ability to work remotely.

As the successful CAD Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of the CAD scope Pre & Post IDR Deliverables.
  • Managing the CAD Scope Deliverables.
  • Coordinating the Clash Resolution Process with the Level 1 Asset Leads.
  • Ensuring CAD information meets the client's requirements/specifications and is suitably coordinated across disciplines/elements of the project and that Modelling SMPs are adhered to.
  • Assisting in the resolution of complex technical modelling and drafting issues.
  • Working with the project team, client and consultants to review all CAD models for the project and make any necessary amendments

Personal requirements:

  • Extensive experience using Navisworks and significant experience of producing Clash Reports and working within ProjectWise.
  • Significant experience of AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Revit, and other Autodesk packages and knowledge of Asset Data Management and Model Data Checking.
  • Extensive 3D CAD/BIM modelling experience, particularly in the design of major civil engineering, infrastructure or rail projects.
  • Experience in setting up and coordinating a CAD Protocol and Execution Plan for a given project.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
