Excellent knowledge and hold qualifications, which should include:_
- Recognised Performing Arts Based Teaching qualifications to include dance and drama
- Child Protection certificate
- First Aid certificate
- Enhanced DBS clearance and/or no convictions.
- Experience and knowledge of working with children & young people
- Competent in literacy & numeracy to a level 2 standard
Competency to perform at consistently high standards in a school environment:_
- Be able to plan a range of innovative coaching sessions and programs
- Set up & deliver high quality coaching sessions to children and young people
- Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles
- Be able to produce accurate assessments and reports on children and young people's progress
Main Duties:_
Delivering dance, drama & musical theatre activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time following the National Curriculum and/or set programs of study.

Part Time - Majority of work during afternoons during term time

Skills and Experience_ _**:_
Own transport and basic computer skills are required and must be reliable with strong time management skills.
Applicants must also be self-motivated and have a passion for performing arts delivery in inspiring young people through engagement and participation in physical activity.
Previous performing arts instructing in a school environment would be highly beneficial to the applicant.Applicants will be asked to attend a 3 stage formal interview process which will involve delivery of a practical session to a group of children/young people
