An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, adaptable, flexible, and skilled Band 4 Clinical Support Services Administrator to work 37.50 hours a week over 5 days am - 5pm with an hour for lunch based at Centre House and covering our Richmond sites.

A full Induction and training will be provided on commencement


The role of the Clinical Support Services Administrator is to deputise for Clinical Support Services & Systems Officer/team leaders/managers in relation to administrative issues and act as a focal point for clinic/departmental enquiries, assist with the smooth running of the sites, supporting not only colleagues but clients and visitors to the sites as well.


The post holder will require to have effective communication skills, ability to work autonomously and unsupervised, be a good team player, have a willingness to embrace change as and when required to ensure the effective running of the site, manage Band 3's and prioritise workload with guidance from the Clinical Support Services Officer.


Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust (HRCH) provide a wide range of healthcare services for the population of London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and the London Borough of Hounslow.


The Clinical Services Directorates have a wide range of responsibilities to manage, including coordinating and delivering community primary care services on behalf of the Trust.

A wide range of these healthcare services are delivered by staff in the community, who include medical staff, paediatric therapists, therapy assistants, health visitors, specialist nurses, nurses, nursery nurses, paediatric phlebotomist and healthcare support workers with the support of administrative staff working in localities with GP's, other health professionals, early years, education, and social care professionals.


The digitisation of health services is underway with a requirement to become paper-light through improving the use of digital tools and adopting mobile and agile working practices and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical delivery.


The post holder will require to have effective communication skills, ability to work autonomously and unsupervised, be a good team player, have a willingness to embrace change as and when required to ensure the effective running of the sites, manage Band 3's and to assist in the induction of Bank and new administration staff as well as prioritise workload with guidance from the Clinical Support Services Officer.


To take responsibility for recording and submitting on time the sickness, annual leave and absences onto the monthly Health Roster.

To cover cross-site if needed and to ensure all the sites are covered during staff absence as well as annual leave.

Responsible for ensuring that all staff are booked and attend Statutory and Mandatory training. Liaise with Learning and Development to arrange in-house training as required and maintain department training log.


To ensure the day to day running of the administration services in the clinic/department through maintaining office supplies, co-ordination of the stock/non-stock ordering processes liaising with relevant staff and keeping documents and records up to date and accessible.

Order supplies both stock and non-stock when required ensuring budgets are not overspent.


Liaise with Estates and IM&T departments regarding any maintenance work required in the clinic/department for equipment, furniture or building works.
