    Risk Analyst Job Description

    Dentons is seeking a Risk Analyst to join our growing new business intake team across Europe. We are looking for reliable, organized candidates with strong analytical skills and attention to detail who enjoy working in a dynamic international environment.

    This role is based in London, but remote working from anywhere in the UK is available most of the time.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Run conflicts checks on varying levels of complexity across sectors, practices, and geographies, including preliminary identification of sanctions issues.
    • Liaise with partners, business support teams, and Risk teams firmwide to resolve commercial and legal conflict issues identified from conflict searches.
    • Conduct anti-money laundering refresh of due diligence for existing clients.
    • Reach out to other Dentons regions to obtain conflict clearances worldwide.
    • Handle confidentiality protection issues, manage information barriers, and document security processes.
    • Review engagement letters, outside counsel terms, and other engagement terms/contracts.
    • Support the team and risk management on various tasks and projects.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree; legal education preferred.
    • Prior experience analyzing and resolving conflicts of interest and managing confidential information issues in an international law firm is required.
    • Experience working with Intapp Open system is advantageous.
    • Excellent analytical skills to identify and analyze complex issues and provide practical solutions.
    • Effective communication skills to deal confidently with internal clients worldwide.
    • Methodical approach to work and strong prioritization skills to deliver work to a high standard and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to make decisions under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations.
    • Strong commitment to excellent client service and professionalism.
    • Ability to work in an international multicultural environment.
