The Company

Focus Independent Adult Social Work is a member led, Community Interest Company (CIC) delivering statutory social services, including safeguarding, for adults in North East Lincolnshire.

Formed in 2013, we employ approximately 160 staff and work collaboratively with local charities, other social enterprises, the local Council and Health organisations to improve the well-being of local people whilst delivering an ethical and caring social work service.

We are based in modern riverside offices close to the town centre and are keen to promote and support flexible working.

The Role
We are looking for someone to join us in this newly created role of Deputy Head of Service (Practice).

The role will support the delivery of the strategic vision for Adult Social Care services in North East Lincolnshire; supporting the Head of Service to discharge the statutory and contractual responsibilities relating to the social care functions in Focus.

We are looking for someone who can build on the good work that has already been done, and to help shape our future direction, priorities and culture, whilst ensuring we retain our core values.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual, and a leader who can inspire and empower people to achieve organisational objectives in line with local, regional and national priorities, ensuring service delivery is strengths based and outcome focussed.

You must be an experienced social work manager with a proven track record of strong leadership and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting social workers.

You will need to have a proven track record of innovation and improvement in social work delivery and practice, and be able to demonstrate your commitment and passion to embedding a culture of learning and excellence.
