Keen to join a busy manufacturing department to build products for aerospace?

This position is part of the machine shop manufacturing value stream, a key internal supplier within the Redruth filter assembly facility You will be required to work rotating shifts, incorporating detailed and intricate work to supply piece parts to the assembly areas.

Our Operatives are responsible for assisting in the production of machined components which involves a wide variety of manufacturing processes and procedures, including operating hand held and mounted polishing mops, stones and burrs.

Inspection of work is carried out to strict criteria to attention to detail is key to ensure that all documentation is compliant

The essential requirements of the job include:_ _**- High levels of dexterity, coupled with excellent practical skills.

Ability to read & understand engineering drawings and focus for periods of time on work in hand.
Ability to operate equipment in a continuous manufacturing/processing department as part of a team.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Manufacturing processes particularly fettling and quality inspection
Preferably having worked in a production environment previously._ _
