HR Advisor


Tewkesbury, permanent, full-time. Salary £40/45k doe


This is a varied role supporting the expansion of the highly successful research and technology company at its secure facility in Tewkesbury.

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated team player, who is highly organised and efficient, with a common sense and flexible approach.


Responsibilities include:


  • High standard of HR support, advice and guidance to employees and Line Managers.
  • Utilising experience in employee relations to ensure HR matters are handled promptly, fairly, and consistently in line with legal and company requirements.
  • Oversee the employee life cycle activities for all employees including assisting with talent acquisition, performance management, onboarding and offboarding.
  • Ensure implementation of and adherence to employment legislation and company policies.
  • Ensure accurate employee records are maintained to meet both statutory and company requirements.
  • Conduct regular evaluation of internal HR processes and make recommendations to improve these as appropriate to ensure that they continue to be both effective and efficient.
  • Support with HR projects.

Skills and Personal qualities required:


  • Previous experience in a similar HR role is essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Must be able to prioritise own workload and adapt to changing work priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly efficient with an organised approach to work and excellent attention to detail.
  • A flexible approach and a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to change.
  • An ability to work under pressure whilst displaying sound judgement.
