Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding business in the Newquay area.


We are seeking an enthusiastic Operations/HR assistant to join a vibrant team and assist in the general running of both the business and HR department.


Duties to include:

HR:


  • Working closely with the senior management team on all staff contract administration
  • Preparing all new permanent and freelancer contracts
  • Logging of staff reviews, job descriptions and starter/leaver information
  • Conduct induction process
  • Tracking and seeking approval of payroll monthly changes
  • Completing employment references and tenancy letters
  • Holiday and sickness log for all staff via Bright HR
  • Responsible for advertising and organising recruitment needs
  • General adhoc admin duties
  • Report to the manager with a monthly sales report and staff targets

Operations:


  • Provide calendar and diary management
  • Arrange internal meetings with staff at all levels
  • Seeking approval and signatures on documentation
  • Research on various topics
  • Helping with confidential employment matters
  • General office duties

Other:


  • Annual review of Operation documents and contracts
  • Managing contractual information
  • Raising invoices when required
  • Implementing new processes and strategies to help the business run smoothly

Required skills and experience:


  • Basic HR knowledge required (no formal qualification necessary)
  • Previous experience of working in a support role in a busy office.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic accounting software.
  • Numerate/Literate
  • Due to nature of remote working, excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to report effectively to management team from remote location.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone starting out in HR role to build skills and gain experience.

This role is being offered on a permanent basis - ideally 4 days per week.
