Base Location:
Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key Hydro South locations, which Lochay Power Station, Clunie Power Station, Tummel Workshop or Killin Workshop
Salary:
£44,195 - £50,611 + Vehicle provided + up to 8% bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

As Construction Site Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in the Renewable Operations Programmes team, driving forward the development and delivery of overhaul, refurbishment, and replacement works on site of key assets within our Hydro power plant.
- Ensuring the highest level of health, safety and environmental protection on SSE programmes works, completed by SSE staff and contractors.
- Supporting the Project Manager and discipline Engineers through the development, construction & commissioning phase of project works at site, fulfilling roles under CDM and the NEC Suite of contracts, and ensuring compliance with SSE regulations and H&S Legislation.
- Using your technical experience and knowledge across multiple disciplines to monitor the completion of works and ensure compliance with agreed work scopes.
- Complete regular, focused site audits on Quality control, Emergency response planning and safety, highlighting areas for improvement and owning/driving improvement actions through to completion.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- A minimum of HNC or equivalent qualification, coupled with experience of working in a similar role.
- Extensive experience working within the power industry across multiple disciplines in an operational, construction or project environment.
