General Service Assistants to be a part of our team at
Government Offices Great George Street (GOGGS), Horse Guards Road, London SW1A 2HQ

  • 2 x permanent roles available, Full or part time available


  • Monday

  • Friday, shifts ranging between 8am 5pm
  • No evenings or weekends
  • Part time hours also available, to be discussed at interview

What you'll be doing:


  • Serve food and beverages to customers, the building is on Parliament square and hosts many high level civil servants and government ministers. Making drinks and some food preperation (heating, plating up as all food is pre prepared off site)
  • Setting up for functions
  • Offering a high level of customer service when dealing with our clients
  • Supporting front and back of house duties
  • Operating the till, taking payments and keep any financial records required
  • Clean front and back of house areas
  • Stocking up and stock rotation
  • Follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
  • Undertake relevant training as required

Experience:


  • Previous hospitality experience is desirable for this role but not essential as full on the job training will be given
  • CTC security clearance required minimum of 3 years UK residency
  • Excellent customer service skills and a great team player
