Description

Our client is looking for an Assembly, Repair, Maintenance & Overhaul (ARMO) Mechanic on a contract basis, located in Aberdeen.


ROLE


The ARMO Mechanic's role is to maintain and repair all of the equipment relating to the Coiled Tubing and Pumping business.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains assigned coiled tubing and pumping equipment in accordance with operating specifications.
  • Conducts mechanical inspections
  • May use moderately complex diagnostic equipment.
  • Review procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy.
  • Analyse and interpret data from tests and troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Analytical ability to find solutions to difficult technical problems.
  • Maintains records.
  • Schedules maintenance.
  • Offshore travel to carry out job Maintenance & Repair as well as initial job startups and fault finding as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS
Education

  • Technical diploma (Desired, not essential).
  • Certifications preferred but not required: Mechanical maintenance.

Experience:


  • Maintenance related experience in mechanical function
  • Relevant industrial experience (airline, military, oilfield, automotive)
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
