Permanent opportunity in Montrose to join a leading Engineering organisation, as Site Commercial Lead. This role would be suited to individuals who have worked in a previous finance/commercial role.

Duties and Responsibilities Include;

  • Producing reports from the analysis of cost reports, and forecasts in order to facilitate improved cost control/reduction, and support the Operations Team in delivering work scopes within budget and cost recover where appropriate.
  • Providing 'cost reports' and 'value of work done summaries' in order to advise on progress against budgets, and also 'forecasts' of cost to completion.
  • Providing support to Delivery Managers regarding commercial aspects of managing contracts based on early interrogation of financial and cost data.
  • Leading the identification and management of contract valuations and variations.
  • Carrying out audits and reviews as necessary, to assist with the identification and implementation of potential commercial improvements.
  • Ensuring suitable controls are in place in support of financial deliverables.
  • Interfacing with Business Managers, invoicing and accounts.
  • Leading the planning cycle from client request to estimate submission ensuring all estimates are submitted in accordance with the contract and scope of work.
  • Leading the planner to ensure all resource increases and reductions are monitored and reported to site management.
