In this role, you will be a part of the team that supports our clients in their usage of the Moody's Analytics Media Solutions products.

This is an opportunity to develop your career in news content management and distribution. You will obtain a broad knowledge of how news effectively adds value to our clients' businesses and decision-making processes.


Main responsibilities include:

  • Provide Tier 1 customer support which involves answering product functionality questions, triaging customer problems, and either resolve, or escalate to the appropriate engineering/development team to address, then effectively communicate the resolution to the customer
  • Responsible for the creation and entitlement, of product user accounts.
  • Work with customers during the account fulfillment process
  • Generate and supply news content archive files
  • Proactively review server/process monitoring checks and follow the proper escalation path when required.
  • Provide support to Sales in answering product functionality questions from prospective customers and provide content samples when requested.
  • Manage queries that originate from News Publishers.
  • Update the respective Confluence pages with any information that could assist in answering related recurring customer questions.
  • Establish effective relationships with the Content, Engineering, Product, Sales, and Taxonomy teams as certain customer queries will require collaboration with one or more of these groups.
  • Perform light product QA and supply feedback to the Product and Development teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Basic Linux knowledge and familiarity with API, FTP, HTTP, SFTP, and S3 Bucket protocols a plus
  • Knowledge of XML and JSON file formats a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and persistence in problem solving with the ability to take initiative before escalating
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated creativity, flexibility, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple issues at a given time
