One of Bristol's most exciting tech start-ups are looking to add to their team working on an industry leading platform for the food industry.

Currently managing £6m per month in customer transactions and used by some of the UK's most prominent food suppliers,this high availability system helps to allow customers to self-serve, automate and drive sales growth making it one of the most revolutionary products to reach the industry for decades.

One of the many benefits to the platform is the ability to seriouslyreduce food waste, something which is resonating across their customers and the market.

The team are remote based but around the south-west regularly meeting in a co-working space in Bristol.

What skills you'll need:


  • Typescript code standards and practices.
- js.

  • Experience with modern frontend technologies (React, HTML5, CSS, JS, Webpack, Babel, ES6, etc).
  • RESTful API services.
  • SQL databases and NO-SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiar with frontend and backend test suites such as Jest, Cypress, etc.
Any knowledge or willingness to learn the following would be great:

  • CI/CD principles.
  • Microservice API architecture.
  • Containerized runtimes (Docker).
  • Infrastructure as code (AWS CDK / Terraform).
  • Serverless architecture and deployment.
  • AWS and associated components such as EC2, IAM, Lambda, etc.
  • GitHub/Bitbucket.
