In the Intelligence, Performance and Engagement team we support teams across Children & Families services.
We bring together the voice of families, qualitative information and performance data to help our services celebrate their successes and identify areas of improvement.
We cover a wide range of areas from early help to social work, education, and youth offending.
We pride ourselves in the support we give each other and the opportunities that this creates for development and progression within our team and across the County Council.
Main Responsibilities
In this role you'll be manipulating, analysing and presenting complex data that will support our teams in Children & Families in using data to make decisions, performance manage and achieve the best outcomes for children and families in Staffordshire.
You will support the business to understand the data by telling a story with the insights you uncover.You will prepare analysis reports by extracting data from various systems, this could be using Excel, Power BI or other tools, that help the system to learn, improve and celebrate our good practice.
You will be scoping and designing Power BI Reports as well as supporting our services to understand data and use this information in their day to day work.
The role will require you to prepare data in line with legislative guidance, to support the submission of our statutory returns.
Monitoring and highlighting data quality issues and working with our services to find ways to improve the quality of our data.
We would really love to meet someone who is passionate about using data to improve outcomes for families and can share their enthusiasm with others.
You will be a great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
You will be able to build positive relationships with key stakeholders and support them to translate service information into meaningful insights that show impact.
As an independent learner you will be motivated to research problems and further develop your skills and knowledge.Interviews will be held on Wednesday 15 May 2024
