Responsibilities:

This role will involve technical interpretation of detailed customer specification/drawing, you will provide the engineering job pack, which will allow the manufacturing operations team to complete the order to a detailed process


Key responsibilities are:

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Full technical contract review
• Develop and improve our laser cutting and fabrication processes to increase efficiency and quality, while reducing costs.
• Liaising with the customer to resolve issues.
• Liaising with the production control to ensure all items are scheduled for manufacture.
• Project management of specific work packages.
• Quoting work packages for external/internal stakeholders.
• Proactive involvement with the clients to understand their expectations and deliver against them.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• Proven experience as a Production/Operations Manager within an engineering environment, predominantly within Laser Cutting/Fabrication
• Knowledge of engineering processes
• Detailed understanding of engineering drawings
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• An energetic, outgoing and confident manner with natural leadership ability and a "handson" approach
