Description
Marketing Officer; full time Mon-Fri. Hybrid working; three days in office and two days working from home.

Our Marketing Officer will help grow the profile, reputation, and membership of the Association of Education Advisers (AoEA).


Responsibilities
-
Membership; managing, growing, and retaining the AoEA membership base.

Social Media; planning, writing, managing, and developing all our organisation's social media accounts.

Weekly Newsletter; writing, designing, distributing, and managing the AoEA weekly e-newsletter.

Website; maintaining, updating, and developing the AoEA WordPress website in conjunction with our web agency.
-
Membership App; maintaining, updating, and developing the AoEA Hub membership app in conjunction with our app agency.
-
Brand identity and corporate materials; creating, commissioning, and maintaining all corporate marketing materials both on and offline ensuring adherence to our brand guidelines. Liaising with designers and printers.

Sponsorship; maintain, source, and expand AoEA's sponsorship relationships and income.

Events; including our annual conference, professional learning sessions, and accreditation seminars both online and in person.

Reporting; creating and presenting monthly reports on membership & social media performance.

Admin; assisting with administration duties.

  • Working as part of small central office team.
  • Working with and reporting to the Development Team and the Board.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum of 2 A Levels and 6 GCSEs, including Maths and English
  • At least 1year experience working in an office or agency environment
  • Confident IT skills using Microsoft Office, graphic design, database and social media management software as well as website management using WordPress
  • Excellent writing skills, solid grammar and punctuation
  • Good graphic design skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with minor supervision from management
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, specifically with clients
  • Exceptional organisation skills and time management
  • The ability to work with a variety of people
