Description
To assist with the provision of the pharmacy service by participating in the accurate and safe assembly of medicines to be dispensed and the accurate and safe receipt, storage, distribution and delivery of medicines.
In addition the production, monitoring and filing of documentation and ward stock management service._ Initial induction period of up to 3 months, followed by a period of training and consolidation to achieve full competency within 12 months following induction._
You must be capable of understanding and working within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and have a commitment to CPD / Self motivation / Ability to work unsupervised along with an ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload and to work under pressure and be able to take direction, work under their own initiative and as part of a team.
Essentially you must have good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate customer awareness/focus coupled with an ability to adapt to changing circumstances and a willingness to contribute to the general working of the pharmacy department.
- Care experienced applicants are people who live/have lived with foster parents/kinship carers or who live/have lived in a residential children's setting/secure unit.'
