The Role
- Leading and supervising your shift and promote good working relations between staff, residents and outside agencies.
- Work in partnership with the management team to ensure the smooth running of our home
- Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure inclusive and quality care planning.
- Assessing the needs of our residents and identify any problems and find appropriate solutions and undertake individual risk assessments
- Contribute to inspections either planned or unplanned
- Provide a supportive and empathetic lead for staff and residents and their families
- Work alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring residents remain as active and independent as possible
- Administer, record and order medication and liaise with our nominated pharmacist
- On call duties as required
About You
- Experience of leading a team in a care
- A committed and organised approach
- A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible to work shifts

Additional experience desirable for this role:
- NVQ level 3 in health and social care (essential)
- Be well organised, IT literate and be skilled at allocating and delegating work appropriately (essential)
- Have experience of assisting with inspections from the Care Quality Commission and other agencies (desirable)
