Are you a seasoned designer or illustrator with a knack for leadership? Twinkl's England Parents team is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our creative team.

As a creative team leader, you will spearhead a group of talented individuals with diverse creative skills, guiding them towards excellence in crafting educational resources for parents and children.

Ongoing projects/how you'll spend your day:


  • Effective Collaboration:Collaborate seamlessly across departments to tailor products and services that cater to the needs of our parent customers. Your ability to work closely with other leaders and product managers will be essential in exceeding production and segment targets.

Mentorship and Empowerment: Mentor and empower team members, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence. Your role in nurturing talent and guiding individuals out of their shells will be pivotal in achieving collective success.

Problem Solving: Act as a proactive problem solver, consistently coming up with innovative solutions to challenges that arise, particularly during times of change. Your confidence in challenging situations will inspire your team to navigate transitions smoothly.

Communication and Organization:Possess strong communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively and maximise productivity. Staying updated on brand guidelines and business updates is crucial to ensure alignment with our vision and goals.

Leadership Qualities: Demonstrate leadership qualities such as decisiveness, strategic thinking, and adaptability. Your leadership will drive the team towards transformative initiatives that shape the future of home-based education.

To succeed in the role, you will:

  • Exhibit strong time management skills.
  • Adapt smoothly from ongoing projects to new opportunities as they emerge, while providing support to your team during transitions.
  • Display initiative and the capacity to work autonomously, taking creative initiatives with mínimal supervision.
  • Showcase creativity and innovation in project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners, both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with others.

In this role, you will learn:

  • Proficiency in team management.
  • Expertise in conducting training sessions.
  • Experience in establishing targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Coaching techniques to assist team members in attaining KPIs.

Requirements:

We're interested in anyone who meets one, or a combination of the following:

  • Proven experience in design or illustration, preferably in an educational context.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of empowering and motivating teams.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage stakeholders and foster collaboration.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
