We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced structural steel Estimator to join our growing Commercial team.

Knowledge of estimating heavy steel commercial and industrial structures will be key as you will be working on large scale steel project including bridges, gantries, and bespoke fabrications.

The role will be predominately office based although some site/client visits will be required as and when.

The role will require working from architectural and structural detailed drawings so previous experience and knowledge of this is essential.

You will analyse the customers' requirements and using accurate material, fabrication and labour costs provide a quality written submission for the project and assist in the compiling of pre-qualifications and re-bid submissions.

Skills and Knowledge.

• 23 years relevant structural steel estimating experience within a similar environment.
• Excellent time management, interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
• Good working knowledge of the Steel industry best practices and standards.
• Excellent IT and numeracy skills with the ability to work with standard software packages such as Excel
• The ability to travel and perform client/site visits when required.

Hours of work

Monday - Thursday , Friday

33 days holiday incl bank Holidays

Salary will be dependent on knowledge and experience.
